About The Role
You are the single point of contact between management and every site we run. When a site has a problem, manpower, machinery, material, money, or the client, it comes to you. You solve what you can, escalate what needs the assistant, and set timelines accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily with site manager(s)/operator(s) and stay on top of the status of each site.
- Act as the first point of contact for site problems — manpower shortages, machine breakdowns, fuel and material issues, attendance, client or municipal matters. Resolve what you can; escalate the rest.
- Handle routine issues independently and bring only what genuinely needs the management’s attention.
- Set timelines for repairs, mobilisation, replacements, and billing inputs, and follow up until they're closed.
- Manage manpower across sites including, but not limited to, deployment, attendance, and replacements.
- Track machinery and equipment status; coordinate servicing and spares with mechanics and vendors to keep downtime low.
- Coordinate material movement and procurement between sites and suppliers.
- Handle day-to-day operational coordination with clients and municipal officers
- Collect operational data from each site and enter it into the company's reporting formats accurately and on time.
- Maintain an issue log for each site and follow items through to closure.
- Visit sites as needed for problem-solving, audits, or new project mobilisation.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in engineering, operations, or business.
- 5–10 years coordinating or managing on-ground operations across multiple sites, ideally in waste management, construction, infrastructure, facilities management, contracting, or logistics.
- Comfortable maintaining daily reports and data on MS word and excel, not just coordinating over the phone.
- Experience handling operators, contractors, and ground staff, and the ability to get work done firmly without souring relationships.
- Fluent in Hindi and comfortable in English for reporting.
- Strong follow-up discipline and the ability to manage a busy, interrupt-heavy day.
- Practical, resourceful, and dependable.
Good to Have
- Experience with government, municipal, or PSU contracts.
- Familiarity with C&D waste, solid waste management, or environmental operations.
